Hola
Yeah, here is the weekly update-
Miriam and Family- Miriam is doing SO well. She hasn't smoked in like two weeks, is praying, reading, coming to church, feeling the spirit. We have to finish teaching her somethings this week so she can be baptized on the 12th. On top of that, her and her family gave us Lunch yesterday after church, AH, I love this family. Please pray that everything goes well and she gets baptized on the 12th.
Nancy- Is doing well. She just has to get married. But it is probable that she gets baptized not on the 12th like planned. We will know for sure tonight. We had lunch with her on Saturday and she made Pastel de Choclo. OH MY GOSH. SOOOOOOO GOOOD. its a pretty traditional summer dish here in Chile. Its kind of like sheperds pie, but instead of potatoe, its corn. ask Hermana Alkire about it. I have had like maybe 5 or 6 times on my mission, but Nancy's was SOO good.
Vania and Janet- well we almost dropped them. But we went by on like tuesday night and Vania told us she was once again reading on the internet but found a website that like defended the church and everything. Well, she basically had a change of heart and wants her kids to be members of the church and was really excited to go to church again and everything. She basically told us (without saying it) that she is going to be baptized sometime. But then they went on the vacation. They should be back today so we will see what happens. Janet is also doing really well, Absolutely loved last week when she went, and has read the entire Principles of the Gospel manual.
Dayana- Gets married on the 10th. She has been doing well. When we go by we usually read the Book of Mormon with her. She understands really well and remembers everything. Like she had read 1st nephi by herself like three months ago and when we asked her about it she gave us like the perfect summary of what is said. She also will be baptized the 12th.
We have other investigatores. Things are going pretty well. Today we had a Zone Activity in the morning. we made Calzones Rotos, Brownies (thank you Alisa!) and then the senior couple in our zone made us this REALLY good pasta.
Sounds like things good back home are good with all that fun painting and everything. You are re-doing the floor too!? Its nice to know that all my siblings are good too. I am glad Dave likes Law school. My comp was studying Law before his mission, but now he says he will probably study something different. Well i am going to upload some photos. Have an amazing week!
