Hola.
Sounds like Europe was fun. I am glad you got home alright. So you
guys will be in Idaho again for christmas. I am going to need to know
what numbers to call. Because, i think i am going to call you guys
this year. There is a member that has like free international calls to
the US. BUt i am still not sure. And its still a few weeks away. but
if you could send me the numbers that would be nice.
So things are good with my new companion Elder Lopez from Guatemala.
Hes from the northern part of the country, on the border with Mexico.
But story of the week:
So on tuesday i got to go to Viña and help with transfers for our
zone. While i was there i had the chance to talk to an Elder Kimball,
who is in is third cambio and is in Nueva Aurora in Viña Oeste...the
area I was this time last year. Anyway, i was asking him about some
members and he tells me that the neighbor of the Familia Letelier got
baptized like two days before. I ask him what neighbor it was and he
tells me her name is Bernarda and describes her a bit to me. Turns out
that one year ago me and Elder Zaldaña found her talking to people in
the Feria (like the flee market/ baazar). She accepted the Book of
Mormon because she has indian blood and "the history of the ancient
americas" really intrigued her. But whenever we went by she would talk
to us outside but would never let us past the fence. So we just left
her with the book of mormon to read and that was that. Three months
ago the missionaries in Nueva Aurora find her talking to people in
the Feria, she had read the Book of Mormon three times and was
starting her fourth. And well, now she has been baptized. Moral of the
story: You plant seeds your mission.
Thats way cool that Brock Solomon is going to Argentina. Thats funny,
me and jason get home and he leaves. CRAZY. But really it makes me
happy to hear this news. I´ve been waiting to hear about the mission
calls from the Flower Mound 1st ward.
Well sounds like things are good back in FLOWER MOUND. i hope you all
had a good thanksgiving. Its weird to think that its like cold and
stuff in the states. because working here in La Calera is hot. me and
my comp sweat like crazy. its gross. im sure you wanted to know that
too.
