once again life is pretty much the same. thats pretty crazy about the storm they had in centerville. thats cool about stake conference with Elder Nelson. Be sure to pay lots of attention to everything he says. He will be speaking directly to the needs of the Lewisville, TX Stake. But that is pretty funny that once again you still have to drive to the coppell building...which isn't even in our stake. haha.
hmmm. this week was pretty normal. the mission is progressing a lot. its cool to see how the mission has changed and progressed since i have been here.
can you send me phone numbers? thank you. where will you guys be on Christmas? next week i'll be calling you to set up everything for that.
I got letters from David and Mary. I liked the sequel to the Star Wars Book (he sent me a star wars christmas book last year). haha. I really liked Mary´s pictures of the trap, my apartment building and especially the one with the caption "This is where Uncle Daniel´s kids play". I didn't know i had kids. haha.
It has been hot. well i mean not like texas hot. but hot. and when you walk everywhere and there is no shade...its kind of lame. it still weirds me out to think that in the states like winter time. thats weird.
in response to your question mom. the office will send you the information i think, or if they don't, i will. and i'll get that information like in january i think. i actually got the information of the other elder hyer this week. its kinda sad, thats probably the last time they'll mix us up in the office because he goes this change. but anyway el dia de cambios is the 14th i think. so i am assuming that its probable Elder Mcfarland would get home that day just because he's closer. but i'll get home probably the day after. i am assuming. but i know nothing. i actually could make some guesses based on the what other missionaries have told me, but why make you guys trunky? =)
thats cool that dave is finishing his first semester. with all the paros they had here in chile, most college kids will be in class like all through their summer-break. and CONGRATULATIONS to Ale for graduating. I remember before leaving on my mission when Ale got accepted into nursing school. weird how time passes like that. but thats cool they will be in San Antonio. I n my opinion, San Antonio is one of the more interesting parts of texas.
so this weekend was the Teletón. its basically this nation-wide fundraiser they do here in Chile every year to raise money for children hospitals. its a huge deal. they have all these popular singers and bands come perform and everything. and for like 27 hours its the only thing that is on TV. its always like the first weekend in december and they always raise TONS of money. pretty cool. yesterday Union La Calera had a home game too (La Calera has a professional Futbol team). it was cool to hear the sounds of a staduim packed full
people again.
Yesterday we did divisiones. they went well. the ward needs lots of help. our goal is to raise attendance. yesterday we had 48 in sacrament meeting and our goal is to raise it to 75. little by little we can lograr it.
