It has the flavor of being blessed

HOLA.

This week was pretty normal. I thought I had lots to tell you. but to be perfectly honest. no. haha.

Horacio is getting baptized this saturday! He´s the husband of a member, so thats pretty cool. another eternal family and more priesthood for the barrio. We also started teaching Jose scharf, hes 20 years old and has been listening to the missionaries off and on for like two years and has been coming to church off and on too. well we started teaching him again and now he has fecha for the 25 of December. Yes, i know that is Christmas. My companion said that day (because its a saturday) without realizing what day that it was...and then we were like La Navidad. nevermind maybe the 19. but then Jose was like, ¨"can i get baptized on christmas? that´d be pretty cool". So we should have a baptism on Christmas.

The other day we were at almuerzo and one of the kids in the family started eating the cake and then asked, "is this blessed? Well, it has the flavor of being blessed so i guess its ok" It was hilarious. but im thinking that it was funnier in the moment and in spanish.

So the other night two weird things happened. Derek asay was in my dream (something about us being in the same mission and his companionship got to drive the new toyota corolla or something like that). and then apparently we had a temblor (a tremor). i don´t think I felt it but apparently it was pretty strong and lasted for like 40 seconds. I just remember being woken up by something. I´m sure mom loves hearing about us having tremos and what not.

Thats cool about the BYU/Utah game. close games are always fun. thats lame byu lost though. thats lame about BOISE STATE. but cool about TCU. Is Texas not having a very good season?

So we´ve started hearing Christmas music. its kinda weird. do you realize that november is almost gone. entonces, basically the year is over. WEIRD.

Sounds like Thanksgiving was good for all. Say hi to the ELMERS for me, and Kim Nield! Thats so cool that there back. Thanks for all that information Dad, and mom...don´t worry. it doesn´t distract me, i just realized what time of year it was and had the question.

So utah and idaho are having a really cold winter? hows the weather like in Dallas?

Well sorry this is short and lame. Oh well. Remember that the Church is true. And that the way we accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ is through his evangelio. Fe, Arrepentimiento, Bautismo, El recepcion del don del espíritu santo, y el perseverar hasta el fin. If we haven´t been baptized of we have but haven´t renewed our covenants through the sacrament...we´re basically denying the power of the atonement in our lives. Christ was crucified for us. more importantly he was resurrected. without the atonement of Jesus christ we have no hope. BUT there is the atonement. there is a resurrección. We can have all these blessings, but we just have to accept the atonement of Jesus Christ. And how dow we do that? Through his Evangelio.

I love you all.
