Wow sounds like things are pretty crazy back at home. with all those tests and parties and races and what not. which by the way, i totally realized on wednesday that mary's birthday was last week, entonces: ¡¡¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS MARY!!!
This week was pretty normal, i am getting used to La calera. On friday we did intercambios and I went to La Corvi ( a part of Quillota) its a beautiful area and i was able to work with Elder Da Silva. its fun working with old companions again. we found a couple of really cool people.
yesterday was stake conference Elder Guerra from the 70 was the presiding authority. it was cool. he gave lots of advice to matrimonios (married couples). Bernarda, this lady that has been listening to the missionaries for like 13 years, is getting baptized on sunday. she finally just quit smoking (that has been her struggle) but sometimes we just have to let our desire for something grow enough to where we can use that desire to overcome anything. i think that is what has happened with her. We're excited. We have been working with some other people here and we should have more baptisms in November. The Zona Quillota, as of sunday night, had 60 fechas bautismales (60 investigators with dates to be baptized). Which, for our mission I think is some kind of record (at least since I have been in the mission). I love our zone, there is so much energy and animo.
Well nothing really interesting has happened. I have some pictures though, today we went with like half of our zone to hike up to this giant cross in my area. It was me and my companion with the district of the elders that we live with. it was fun. especially coming down. sometimes trails arent very well designed in chile....as in on the way down...you just kind of slide. haha. it was fun. enjoy the pictures.
it doesn't surprise me that the spanish ward would have more people at their primary program than the flower mound 1st ward. thats interesting that it was both in english and spanish though. i love how international the church is. it really is a testimony of the truthfulness of it all. I am including a link to the church newsroom, there is a thing about the 50 years celebration. the video is pretty cool.
thats cool that Charity is starting a new job in december. that will be pretty stressful. and if you can, you totally should go to the byu-tcu game at cowboys stadium. dad told me last week that the rangers were in the world series again. how is that going?
i keep forgetting that you are going to germany. thats fun. have you decided what you guys are going to do for christmas? there is already christmas stuff in the stores here. well i hope everything is going well at home. i love you all de verdad. and i hope everyone who reads this has an amazing day. Chloe reynolds, i doubt you read these, but if you are out there...if you were a middle.aged chilean women...i found who you would be. don't worry its a good thing.
