Wow. this week was cool. it went by so fast that I don't know what to say.
The highlight was the baptism we had yesterday, ¡Bernarda se bautizó! It was a pretty cool service considering all the drama that was happening. it really was a good service. And she was so happy. Lets just say that stuff happened in the ward and so me and my companion were a little worried that the baptism would be postponed, but i won't go in the story. Let this be sufficient: I felt like I was in Twelve Angry Men or Doubt and even a few things reminded me of Rimers of Eldritch. haha, hence the title of this email. but in the end she was baptized. and she felt the spirit really strongly. she said she didn't want to go home afterward, she wanted to stay in the church because she felt so peaceful.
The ward also had their Primary Program yesterday. It was good. The kids did a good job.
Thats sad that the Rangers lost the world series a second year in a row. and that byu lost too. lame. oh well. i´m not home. sorry i am writing later than usual. we played futbol as a zone this morning. it was fun.
So let me explain these pictures that I am sending. One is obviously of the Baptism, the other is of my pension. its halloween. so we of course had to be the crazy pension that went to the zone activity has something. we wanted to go as Flaites. but we of course don't have much when it comes to clothing options. oh well. it was worth the try. and the others are especially for Dave. one of the elders in pension took Mickey's secret mission story to a whole new level. haha. sorry this is so short. Mom and Dad when do you guys go to germany? like next week right? By the way dad, we live across from the street from a cement plant. its from the company Melón. maybe they are like your south american competitors? haha.
I really do feel sorry that this is so lame. whatever, the weeks are starting to go by really fast. it seems like everything is going well at home though. im glad that alisa's activity turned out well. that is cool that Spencer is at Viewmont. Did shannon end up working in Phoenix? Have they finished the new stake center?
Bueno, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. and is the only way we can find salvation. I hope all is well back at home. Saludos a todos.
OH, just totally remembered. me and my companion definitley had an experience with a drunk man last night. he started kissing my arm. WEIRD. but, you gotta have at least one weird encounter with a drunk person during mission right?
